Here are just a few things to be aware of to help you safely and thoroughly enjoy your candle and get the most use out of each one!

• For the first time lighting your new candle, it is important that you allow enough time for the candle wax to melt from the edges to prevent “tunnelling”!
• Always be sure to place your candle on a stable, flat, heat resistant surface & away from flammable items.
• Trim your wick! – Trim your candle wick to 1/4″ before each use to keep the wax clean and ensure a cleaner burn!
• Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time – Burning a candle for too long will cause carbon to collect on the wick, leading it to “mushroom.”
• Never ever leave a candle burning unattended, always extinguish the flame fully when you are leaving!
• And of course- if you have children or furry friends at home, please keep your candles out of their reach!
